Katlyn Nickels Recipient of New Century Scholar Doctoral Scholarship

SLHS PhD candidate Katlyn Nickels was recently honored by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation with a 2022 New Century Scholars Doctoral Scholarship. This award will support her endeavors in the development of robust behavioral treatment approaches for individuals with primary progressive aphasia (PPA), specifically the contribution of a phonological intervention in naming performance in individuals with the logopenic variant of PPA.

Ms. Nickels continues the tradition of SLSH scholars being honored by ASHFoundation.
