We’re Celebrating 80 Years!

Welcome to the Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences Department on the beautiful campus of The University of Arizona. Our current location in the School of Mind, Brain and Behavior in the College of Science, continues to promote our goals of high-quality training and research.

Our department offers educational programs in a multidisciplinary environment leading to the BS, MS, AuD, and PhD degrees. Our top-notch research and training  have earned us a Top 5 ranking of our speech-language graduate program and a Top 12 ranking of our audiology graduate program by US News and World Report. Students also find that the beauty of the Sonoran Desert and sunny skies of Tucson make The University of Arizona an especially nice place to go to school.

Our facul100_2231_00ty have affiliations with various programs at The University of Arizona, including Advanced Research Institute for Biomedical Imaging (ARIBI), Biomedical Engineering Program, Cognition and Neuroimaging Laboratories, Cognitive Science Program, Program in Neuroscience, Department of  Neurology and Sonoran UCEDD.
